President holds farewell meeting with Ambassador of Turkiye 

President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbay.

According to the Presidential Administration, during the meeting at the Presidential Palace, Mikheil Kavelashvili commended the diplomat for his successful work in contributing to the Georgia-Turkiye partnership development.

The President stated that Georgia values and assigns great significance to the friendship and exemplary strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkiye based on trust, mutual respect and taking into account national values.

Mikheil Kavelashvili wished Ali Kaan Orbay success in his future diplomatic endeavours and remarked that he was convinced the new ambassador would continue the standard he had established and contribute to the further development of relations between Georgia and Turkiye.
