President deems freedom most powerful weapon to fight occupation
The Orbeliani Palace is hosting a young Georgian artists’ exhibition on February 25 to commemorate the Soviet invasion of Georgia 102 years ago.
At the event’s opening, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said, “This is a very difficult day, but the most important thing is to continue fighting.”
“We must fight the occupation and all forms of enslavement in all possible ways, not always via an armed conflict. Freedom is the strongest weapon. Freedom and free thinking are our greatest powers. Since this is what a person was born for and what he lives for, by doing this, we destroy all types of Putinism,” declared the president.
The exhibition will run till February 27 and can be visited by pre-registering at [email protected] from 11:00 to 19:00.
