President considers it inappropriate to revoke Otar Partskhaladze's citizenship
“The President of Georgia considers it inappropriate to revoke Otar Partskhaladze’s citizenship,” the President’s Office said in a statement on Friday.
“Otar Partskhaladze has been charged with espionage, and an investigation has begun against him. Based on the state interests, the President of Georgia does not consider it appropriate to terminate his Georgian citizenship at this stage. The president believes that if Otar Partskhaladze is to be punished, he should be punished as a Georgian citizen,” the statement reads.
