Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili congratulated Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II on his birthday on behalf of the Georgian society.

“Georgians scattered all around the world retain faith, love for the motherland and moral principles with your blessing. Today, when the pandemic rages, and our society is sick with polarization, Georgia, as never before, needs your care and prayers. On behalf of diverse Georgian society, I wish you health and strength,” reads the president’s congratulatory statement.

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II turned 89 today.
