President awards Shota Rustaveli Prize and National Prize of Georgia recipients
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has honored the recipients of the Shota Rustaveli Prize and the National Prize of Georgia.
Kavelashvili congratulated the laureates on their achievements.
“We are proud of your creativity. It is our duty that the state and government always appreciate your contributions and that we never overlook any individual who works so selflessly in their field,” the president declared.
The president awarded the Shota Rustaveli Prize for the production of the play “Ekvtime” to: Vasil Chigogidze, Gocha Kapanadze, and Lomguli Murusidze, Georgian folk singer Ramin Mikaberidze and translator Bela Shalvashvili.
The National Prize of Georgia was awarded to Academicians Aleksandre Nersesiani and Giorgi Japaridze.
