Presidency of parliamentary committees by opposition to be discussed, MP Kobakhidze says
Georgian parliament will discuss the presidency of the parliamentary committees by opposition parties’ representatives across Charles Michel’s agreement has been annulled, ruling Georgian Dream party Chairman Irakli Kobakhide on Monday.
“We will decide on this issue with our good will. Consultations will be held with the opposition in a healthy environment, following the local elections,” Kobakhidze noted. For the record, the April 19 deal stipulated for opposition MPs to lead five parliamentary committees.
