Portugal's Coach Martinez: Georgia deserved victory

Following Portugal’s 0:2 loss to Georgia, the head coach of the Portuguese national team, Roberto Martinez, shared his thoughts on the match.

“We didn’t underestimate Georgia but it is true that they were playing the biggest game in their history,” Martinez said.

He added: “Their goalkeeper Mamardashvili played very well. We couldn’t get a goal which gave Georgia extra strength and belief, and they deserved the victory.”
