Policeman jailed for violating traffic safety rules

The Tbilisi City Court sentenced the detained employee of the patrol police department to prison for the violation of the traffic safety rules, which resulted in the death of a person.

At the court session, the accused used his right to speak and expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.

The punishment envisages imprisonment from 4 to 7 years.
