Officers from the Old Tbilisi and Isani-Samgori Divisions of the Tbilisi Police Department have detained two individuals, identified as K.F., born in 1970, a convicted criminal, and S.R., a Belarusian citizen born in 1992, on charges of illegal possession and storage of substantial quantities of narcotics, as well as facilitating their illicit sale.

During searches of the suspects’ personal and residential premises, law enforcement officials confiscated a significant amount of tetrahydrocannabinol and dried cannabis as evidence. Further investigations uncovered methadone prepared for sale at multiple locations linked to one of the suspects.

The case remains ongoing under Articles 260 and 260-quarta of the Criminal Code, which carry penalties of up to 20 years’ imprisonment or a life sentence.
