Police detained two persons for drug crime

Adjara Police Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry detained D.Kh. (DoB 1966) and A.Ch. (DoB 1980) for illegal purchase and storage of especially large amounts of narcotic and psychotropic drugs.

The crime envisages from 8 to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, police have seized 190 pills of Suboxone and about 10 gr. of psychotropic substance.

An investigation is in progress under  Article 160 and Article 261 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving illegal purchase and storage of especially large amounts of narcotic and psychotropic drugs.
