Police detain three individuals for violence committed in a group in Tbilisi

Officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained three individuals, among them three minors, for violence committed in a group.

According to the MIA, the investigation determined that three individuals, alongside two others, verbally and physically assaulted a Glovo delivery courier on August 7 on Kazbegi Avenue and escaped from the crime scene.

The assaulted young man was provided medical aid at the clinic. Law enforcers, through operative measures, detained three individuals participating in the assault the following day. Two other individuals are being searched.

The investigation into the case is in progress under Article 126, Part 1-1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
