Police detained one person during the rally organized by the United National Movement (UNM) party in Zugdidi, the Samegrelo region.
UNM member Ani Tsitlidze and her supporters staged a performance rally at the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) building. They brought medical syringes and flour, as well as a poster with the inscription “Revolution.”
Ani Tstitlidze said the syringes and powder symbolize drugs and demanded a meeting with the SSG Head that entailed a conflict with law enforcers. The detained protester Eldar Kezua was taken to Zugdidi Police Department.
