Police Control raids are conducted in Tbilisi and regions of Georgia, Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports. The purpose of the ongoing activities is prevention of crime.

Ten people are detained including 6 previously convicted. Unregistered guns as well as drugs are confiscated as result of the conducted raids on December 22.
