As a result of operational-search and investigative measures, officers of the Tetritskaro District Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department arrested A.B. (born in 1988) and P.E. (born in 1969, previously convicted) on charges of organizing and participating in group violence.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation revealed that the suspects, seeking revenge over a previous conflict, physically assaulted N.B. (born in 1982) in an organized, group manner, shot him with a firearm, and then fled the scene.

The injured man was taken to a clinic, where he is receiving medical treatment.

Law enforcement officers arrested the suspects just a few hours after the incident.

The case is being investigated under Part 2 of Article 225 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which carries a penalty of up to six years in prison.
