Officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested three individuals — N.B. (born in 1995), J.A. (born in 1990), and A.A. (born in 1985) — on charges of illegal purchase, storage, sale, and facilitation of the sale of narcotic drugs in particularly large quantities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the agency, searches of the defendants’ residences led to the seizure of particularly large quantities of various narcotics prepared for sale, including heroin, methadone, and dried marijuana.
“As a result of the investigative actions, police also seized materials used for packaging narcotics.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 260(3), and 260(4) of the Criminal Code, which carry penalties of up to 20 years or life imprisonment,” the MIA statement said.
