PM views the opposition as a sect group, says it assembles for nothing

“They have been witnessing their own failure for so long, yet they still gather daily, sometimes with 20 people, 50, or 150; the numbers are roughly in that range; consequently, this group, this unity, has taken on the character of a sect,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

According to the PM, the group is meeting without any goal.

“When you conduct rituals daily without any goal, acknowledging that you will not achieve anything or are not result-oriented, this represents a certain form of a sect’s activities. This cannot be assessed otherwise,” he said.
