PM views opposition as discredited with no chance of success in 2028 elections
“Everyone can prepare for the 2028 parliamentary elections; there will be other processes, including in the Constitutional Court, we will have to wait for that too,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told Georgian reporters in Antalya.
According to the PM, opponents have no chance of success in the next elections.
“They represent foreign agents. Their aggressive attitude toward elections is not astonishing. When you lose elections, you become aggressive toward the event. Therefore, they cannot be freed from this aggression, although they now have a kind of glow and are talking about the elections.
In fact, this does not change anything for anyone – either for the country or our political team. We were preparing for the elections in the past, and we are preparing for the 2028 parliamentary elections, which we will win decisively. The opposition is so discredited today that it has no chance of success, even in 2.5 years,” he said.
