PM urges Georgians to reject 'liberal fascism' ahead of October 26 elections
“Georgians should renounce liberal fascism on October 26,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.
The Prime Minister stated that unfortunately, foreign money is contributing to efforts aimed at inciting hatred within society.
“Liberal fascism is not a new phenomenon; it represents the ideology of radical opposition and those who lack core values. They have demonstrated that they hold neither Georgian sports nor our athletes in high regard, as their support of them is insincere. Otherwise, their liberal-fascist actions would be inexplicable. However, this will not sway dignified individuals.
The elections on October 26 are decisive. The Georgian people must reject liberal fascism in our country and the hatred these individuals propagate in society. Sadly, foreign funding is involved in these efforts. That is why passing the law on transparency was vital; it allows everyone to see who is financing the propagation of hatred in Georgia,” he concluded.
