PM trips to Kvemo Kartli region to inspect carried out projects

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited the Kakhadzes greenhouse farm in the village of Dioknisi, Dmanisi Municipality, as part of his trip to the Kvemo Kartli region.

Yuri Kakhadze, the farm’s owner hosted the PM. The Kakhadze family received 5,000-GEL financing from the Produce in Georgia program to build this greenhouse farm. The greenhouse, depending on the season, is used to grow various vegetable seedlings. The family also runs a cherry plum orchard to sell the crops to the Marneuli Food Factory.

Irakli Garibashvili visited a new school in Kutliari Village of Marneuli Municipality. The Head of Government of Georgia was briefed about the construction works by Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.
The school is equipped with classrooms, labs, a ballroom, a combined mini sports field, a canteen of modern type along with other essential infrastructure.

As the Prime Minister noted, 8 new school buildings are being constructed by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) in Marneuli municipality, 5 are finished and 3 are being completed. Construction ended in Khuldara, Shulaveri, Kutliari, Kasumlo and Jandara, where pupils already enjoy studies in a setting that fits well with European standards.

Giorgi Dokhturishvili, Governor of the Kvemo Kartli region, Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science, Kenan Omarov, Marneuli Mayor and Larry Barnabishvili, Department Head for Regional Coverage at the Government Administration of Georgia accompanied the Prime Minister.
