PM to nominate Ozurgeti mayoral candidate

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili nominated Avtandil Talakvadze as Ozurgeti mayoral candidate of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

The PM spoke about the improvement of education standards. He elaborated on the planned rehabilitation of 800 schools in line with European standards in the coming years.

According to Garibashvili, locals of the Guria region are hardworking people; building blueberry gardens across 300 hectares of land and restoration of over 120-hectare tea plantations is the result of their diligence.

The Prime Minister also stressed the issue of the State Theatre reconstruction in Ozurgeti this year that happened due to the Kartu Foundation funding.
