Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will visit sports infrastructure in Tbilisi and the Imereti region ahead of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship co-hosted by Georgia.
The PM will first inspect the newly reconstructed Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi. In Kutaisi, he will visit Ramaz Shengelia Stadium and the Academy of the Georgian Football Federation (GFF).
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure received GEL 115 million in government funding to rebuild ten infrastructure units in preparation for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2023.
The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be held in Georgia and Romania from June 21 to July 8. Football matches will be played in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi.
