PM stresses anti-corruption as top priority, focus on prevention

“The fight against corruption remains one of the main priorities of law enforcement agencies, and several criminal cases have already been uncovered,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the 2025 summary government session.

According to Kobakhidze, the primary focus is on preventing corruption in the first place.

“The public is well-informed about these efforts. However, when discussing corruption, I want to stress that while exposing past crimes is important, our main goal is to look forward and ensure the prevention of corrupt practices today and in the future. Every decision we have made has been aimed at this, and we will continue to prioritize this issue moving forward,” the Prime Minister stated.
