PM, Speaker nominate national football team players, staff to be awarded Medal of Honour

The players of the national football team, their coaching staff, and the management of the National Football Federation will be awarded the Medal of Honour after claiming victory over Greece in the playoff final of the UEFA Euro 2024 and securing its first-ever spot in a major football tournament.

The official nomination of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and the Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has been sent to the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili.

The nominees are as follows:
