PM: September 27 reminds us of tragedy and gravity of war in Abkhazia

“September 27 is an extremely tragic day that reminds us of the severity of the war in Abkhazia. On this day, we remember the heroes who died in Abkhazia and pay tribute to their heroism and memory. It is our duty to do everything possible to restore Georgia’s territorial integrity peacefully,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists at the Memorial to the Heroes Who Died for Georgia’s Unity, where he paid tribute to those killed on the anniversary of the fall of Sokhumi and laid a wreath at the memorial.

According to the Prime Minister, every effort should be made to restore Georgia’s territorial integrity through peaceful means.
