PM says Georgia sends clear message to U.S., warning to review current status quo
“We have sent a clear message to the U.S. that relations cannot continue as they are; otherwise, Georgia will be forced to reassess the current status quo,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the PM, the future of these relations hinges on the U.S.
“We recently met with the U.S. Ambassador in Tbilisi. We have no communication issues; our message is loud and clear, and the public is aware of it. We expressed that relations cannot persist in their current state, or we will have to reevaluate the status quo. This is our firm position, and now it is up to the U.S.,” he said.
