PM says accessibility to public services main principle for government
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze opened the 9th Public Service Hall in Khelvachauri, Adjara region of Georgia.
“Locals as well as visitors will have the opportunity to receive all the services provided by the House of Justice in a modern infrastructure and with the highest standards of service,” he said in his opening speech.
The PM remarked that in 2012, public services were accessible at 11 locations, while they are available at 127 locations currently.
“A mobile justice house is also operating in the region, which brings services directly to dozens of villages. This is our main principle, to make state services as close as possible to our citizens,” he said.
According to Irakli Kobakhidze, geographic accessibility continues to grow.
“We will soon open new locations in several cities and towns, bringing the total number of branches to 132,” he said.
The Prime Minister extended gratitude to Justice Ministry specialists and staff who are involved in the implementation of new projects, putting new technologies into practice and introducing innovations.
