PM remarks on President Zourabichvili's ties with Ukrainian officials, citing past calls for second front
“Salome Zourabichvili openly called for a second war front in meetings,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, responding to a journalist’s question regarding Salome Zourabichvili’s invitation to the Crimea Platform’s fourth summit.
According to the head of government, he is not surprised by the friendship between Zourabichvili and Ukrainian officials.
“Unfortunately, Salome Zourabichvili was where calls for a second front were voiced. I would like to remind everyone of the meeting I had with Shalva Papuashvili and Salome Zourabichvili on the second or third day after the war began. At that meeting, Salome Zourabichvili opened with the words, ‘Look, Zelensky is a hero, and you should be like him.’
It is easy to infer what Zourabichvili was advocating. Therefore, I am not surprised by the friendship between Salome Zourabichvili and certain high-ranking officials. She openly urged us to support the establishment of a second front during our discussions,” the Prime Minister stated.
