PM: Partnership with China are of special importance, China is peaceful state focused on development and progress

“For us, partnership, friendship, and relations with China are of special importance. China is a peaceful state, oriented from beginning to end toward development, modernization, and progress,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in his speech at the event marking the launch of direct regular flights between Tbilisi and Shanghai.

According to the prime minister, the direct flights will make a significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

“We are pleased and proud that, in recent years, relations between Georgia and China have been developing at a very rapid pace. About two years ago, we signed a strategic partnership agreement, which has already produced concrete and tangible results for our countries. More recently, we signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between the two countries.

Partnership, friendship, and relations with China are of special importance to us. China is a peaceful state, oriented from beginning to end toward development, modernization, and progress. China is extremely successful in all areas, which is the result of the wise policies of the Chinese government and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

We are doing everything to further develop bilateral relations. Close political cooperation between Georgia and China is very important to us. We are pleased that the economic partnership between our countries is developing very rapidly. We also pay special attention to cooperation in the fields of education and culture. Direct flights will make a great contribution to the further development of bilateral relations,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
