PM opens new building of music school

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze together with Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and Sports Tea Tsulukiani opened the new building of Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School “Decade of Talents”.

The PM inspected the rehabilitated building and familiarized himself with the implemented works, the Press Service of the Governmenal Administration reported.

The school faced difficult problems over the years. The building did not correspond to the professional environment, it could not meet the requirements of the Central Music School.

With the investment of Kartu Foundation and the support of the state, the building of the school was renovated. More than 7 million GEL was spent on the project.

The Prime Minister congratulated the director of “Decade of Talents”, Nodar Zhvania, teachers and students on the opening of the new building and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the school.

Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Tea Tsulukiani and the chairman of the board of Kartu Foundation Nikoloz Chkhetiani, attended the concert dedicated to the opening of the new building, in which the successful students and graduates of the “Decade of Talents” took part.
