PM: No NatsMaidan in Georgia, European politicians, local agents, Fifth Column responsible for November 29 violent protest
“Everyone got convinced yesterday that no NatsMaidan will take place in Georgia,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the press conference in the Government Administration.
According to the PM, European politicians, bureaucrats, local agents and the Fifth Column, represented by four political parties, are responsible for the November 29 violent protest.
“For three years, certain European politicians and bureaucrats, who failed to stage Ukrainization in Georgia, constantly attempted to use the candidate status and negotiations opening for the country’s weakening, deepening so-called polarization and the society’s artificial splitting.
I remind you that throughout these three days – first the candidate status and then negotiations opening has been used as the main tool to tarnish the country’s image and society’s division.
European politicians, bureaucrats, local agents and the Fifth Column represented by four political parties are mainly responsible for the November 29 violent protest. It became obvious to everybody yesterday that everybody knows everything well.
Radicals and their foreign patrons each time attempt to find an excuse for attempted disorder and Ukrainizaion of Georgia. They have not acknowledged as yet that unlike Ukraine in 2013, Georgia is an independent state with strong institutions and, what is most important, experienced and wise people, whose strength cannot be shaken. No Maidan scenario will succeed in Georgia. Georgia is a state and the Georgian state will not admit it,” he said.
