PM meets US Senator, Congressman

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met US Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Congressman Mike Turner paying a visit to Georgia.

At the meeting, the sides accentuated the Georgia-US strategic partnership and the challenges facing the bilateral relations.

The PM stressed the necessity to review the relations and make them healthier reconfirming Georgia’s readiness for that.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgia remains a reliable ally of the US and expressed hope that Georgia-US relations would return to positive development dynamics.

US Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani attended the meeting.
