Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met the newly-appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia Didier Trebucq.
The meeting focused on the productive partnership between the Georgian government and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator, as well as on expressing readiness for future cooperation.
The PM highlighted the significance of the UN Resident Coordinator’s efforts in supporting the country’s needs and national priorities, including the effective implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The dignitaries also discussed the current situation regarding security and human rights on the occupied territories of Georgia.
