Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Mark Clayton, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Georgia.
In the meeting at the Government Administration, the strategic partnership and political relations between the two countries were discussed. The conversation touched on cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and the role of Wardrop Dialogue in further strengthening this partnership.
The considerable contribution of the United Kingdom to the empowerment of Georgia’s state institutions and the country’s democratic development was also underlined. The Prime Minister of Georgia thanked Mark Clayton for the United Kingdom’s strong support of Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-recognition policy.
