Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Saeed Al Hajeri, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the Government Administration reported.

The dignitaries discussed the close and actively-developing relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Special emphasis was placed on the importance of last year’s visit by the UAE President, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in deepening bilateral partnership.

The parties also discussed cooperation in the economic and investment sectors, as well as the importance of the visa-free regime and the economic partnership agreement between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates for further stimulating trade and investment between the two countries. Particular attention was drawn to the significance of Eagle Hills’s investment in the value of 6.6 billion USD, which will substantially contribute to the continued economic growth of Georgia.
