PM meets PM of Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, the Government Administration reported.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for trade and economic cooperation. The existing potential in this area and opportunities to strengthen ties in the investment sphere were highlighted.

The discussion also focused on Georgia’s favorable geographic location, the potential of the Middle Corridor and the country’s role as an important regional and logistics hub. Particular emphasis was placed on the special importance of peace and stability.
