PM meets OSCE PA President
Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), the Government Administration reported.
The parties discussed the bilateral cooperation agenda between Georgia and the OSCE. As noted by the Prime Minister, Georgia values the important role carried by the OSCE in matters related to conflicts inter alia.
During the meeting, attention was also given to ongoing political processes in the country, recent legislative changes and the necessity of upholding the rule of law in a democratic state.
The meeting held at the Government Administration was attended by Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani and Parliamentary Committee Chair on Foreign Relations MP Nikoloz Samkharadze.
