PM meets newly-appointed ambassador to Israel

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met H.E. Beka Dvali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the State of Israel, upon his appointment, assuming duties on 1 July, the Government Administration reported.

The meeting highlighted the close cooperation and centuries-old friendship between Georgia and Israel.

The Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him every success in his new role.

Beka Dvali has many years of experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Throughout his diplomatic career, he has served in various positions at Georgia’s diplomatic missions abroad, including as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Commonwealth of Australia and the Republic of South Africa, as well as Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Ireland.

A lawyer by profession, Beka Dvali holds a master’s degree from Maastricht University in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
