Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Eagle Hills, which is one of the world’s largest development companies implementing the largest investment project – amounting to 6.6 billion USD – in the history of Georgia, the Government Administration reported.

During the meeting held in Abu Dhabi, the parties discussed specific aspects of the project.

The Head of Government of Georgia once again emphasized the exceptional importance of this largest-ever investment project in Georgia, noting that it will provide a new stimulus for the country’s economic development.

Under the Eagle Hills project, world-class infrastructure is being developed in Krtsanisi and Gonio, which will offer a high-quality environment for both Georgian citizens and visitors to the country.

The project will create over 24 000 jobs during the construction phase and more than 8000 jobs after completion. In line with the company’s policy, Georgian construction companies will be directly involved in the implementation of the project, contributing to the development of the country’s business sector. The project’s direct impact on Georgia’s economy is estimated at 11 billion GEL.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili.
