Irakli Garibashvili, Georgian Prime Minister met Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE).
The PM thanked the CoE Secretary General for the efforts in the process of carrying out democratic reforms in Georgia.
Irakli Garibashvili spoke about the significance of EU candidate status for Georgia and the implementation of EC’s 12-point recommendations.
The PM touched on the situation across Georgia’s two occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions and underscored the CoE’s engagement in the process of peaceful resolution of conflicts and restoration of trust between the confronted sides.
