PM meets Bybit Co-Founder and CEO

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Ben Zhou, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the international financial services platform Bybit, the Government Administration reported.

The Head of Government of Georgia noted that the interest of leading international fintech companies towards the country is welcome and once again confirms the attractiveness of the investment environment in Georgia, as well as the opportunities available in the country in the fields of financial innovation and digital asset services.

The positive dynamics of Georgia’s economic development were highlighted during the meeting. It was noted that the country’s average economic growth rate reached 9.3% in 2021-2025.

The Prime Minister stated that the Government of Georgia supports the further development of information and communication technologies, as well as financial services in the country, thereby expressing readiness for active cooperation with Bybit in this regard.

The meeting was attended by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development; Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration and Shota Lomtadze, Co-Founder and CEO of Bybit Georgia.
