Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with the President of the Austrian Federal Council, Claudia Arpa.
According to the Government Administration, the meeting discussed the close cooperation between the countries, the European Commission’s positive recommendation and Georgia’s steps towards full membership in the European Union.
The Prime Minister expressed hope for continued support from Austria on Georgia’s EU integration path.
Sides also focused on deepening cooperation and discussed ways to enhance friendly relations between the two countries.
PM thanked the Austrian Federal Council President for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and European path.
