Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Anne Toft Sørensen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Georgia, the Government Administration reported.
The conversation at the meeting focused on the cooperation between the Kingdom of Denmark and Georgia in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The importance of opening the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Tbilisi to bolster deeper relations between the two countries was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to economic and energy cooperation. The resumption of direct flights between Denmark and Georgia was positively evaluated, as it will further enhance the development of people-to-people contacts and bilateral tourism cooperation.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for strongly supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the country’s integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
