PM Kobakhidze: Work on Anaklia Deep Sea Port enters active phase; Phase One scheduled for completion in 2029
“Construction of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port has entered the active phase,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced during a cabinet meeting.
According to the Prime Minister, under the government’s roadmap, the first phase of development is set for completion in 2029, at which point the deep-sea port will be equipped to receive its first vessels.
“Under our plan, the first phase should be completed in 2029, and by 2029 the Anaklia Deep Sea Port must receive its first ships; work is actively progressing to this end,” the Prime Minister noted.
