PM Kobakhidze meets with Kazakh counterpart

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov.

During a face-to-face meeting at the Government House of Kazakhstan, the leaders discussed the successful cooperation between their countries across various fields. They highlighted the positive momentum in trade and economic relations, as well as the pivotal role of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation in facilitating this progress.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the bilateral trade turnover, which has increased by 25% in 2024 compared to the same period last year.

The discussion also covered the potential for expanding export volumes, underscoring the importance of fully leveraging existing opportunities in this area.

Irakli Kobakhidze extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan to make an official visit to Georgia.
