PM Kobakhidze: Georgia ready to facilitate regional peace and stability

“Georgia has always expressed its willingness and remains committed to facilitating and contributing to the establishment of stability and peace in the region, which is essential for the development and prosperity of our countries,” declared Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during the 14th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia.

According to him, Georgia is ready to collaborate on these critical issues with its Armenian friends and partners.

“Georgia and Armenia firmly support each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. I would like to thank you once again for your unwavering support of Georgia,” noted the Prime Minister.

Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized that the Georgian government continues to work effectively to enhance the investment and business environment.

“We are pleased to note that Georgia has become an attractive destination for Armenian investors. Last year, Armenian investments in Georgia increased by nearly 40%, which we celebrate. We are committed to creating the most favourable conditions for Armenian investors in our country. To that end, we have developed specific effective mechanisms designed for foreign investors. Through these mechanisms, we aim to provide suitable assistance to even more investors from your country, should such interest arise,” the Prime Minister stated.
