PM Kobakhidze expresses confidence in rebuilding Georgian-American relations
“We have had several communications, including with Secretary Rubio, and all of this keeps us confident that it is possible to reset Georgian-American relations,” Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, stated at today’s press conference.
As the Head of Government noted, the opposition remains anxious about the positive developments.
“We feel very strong, supported by the public. Regarding Georgian-American relations, which our opposition is quite nervous about, we have engaged in several contacts, including my discussions with Secretary Rubio. All of this reinforces our belief that a reset is achievable. For now, we should wait calmly for the developments to unfold. The opposition’s concern about positive trends is understandable, but we are pleased with these positive signs,” the Prime Minister said.
