PM Kobakhidze describes EU Ambassador as tragic figure not allowed for his ambassadorship
“Herczyński is a tragic individual. He is not permitted to serve as an ambassador,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
As Kobakhidze explained, the Georgian government maintains a one-sided friendship with EU Ambassador to Georgia Paweł Herczyński.
“My position regarding Mr. Herczyński is clear: he is a tragic person. He is not allowed to serve as an ambassador—this is my unequivocal assessment. He interfered in Georgia’s democratic elections by publicly expressing his stance, urging the public to vote against the current government. I can state definitively that he is a tragic figure. He is not permitted to serve as an ambassador. The rest is for you to interpret. We continue to maintain a one-sided friendship with Mr. Herczyński, and this will persist,” Kobakhidze told journalists.
