PM Kobakhidze: Cooperation with OSCE to continue, but calibre depends on whether PA can rise above Joe Wilson’s standard
“Cooperation with the OSCE will continue, but the calibre of this partnership will depend entirely on how the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly conducts itself moving forward; specifically, whether it remains dragged down to the level of Joe Wilson, or manages to rise above it,” the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, stated during a briefing at the Government Administration.
According to the Prime Minister, this will be a matter of fundamental importance for future engagement between the Georgian delegation and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
“We shall see how developments unfold. I reiterate that the quality of our cooperation will hinge entirely on the future conduct of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly itself,” the Prime Minister concluded.
