PM Kobakhidze announces Georgia to host World Rugby U20 Championship in 2026

Georgia will host the World Rugby U20 Championship next year. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze shared this news on social media.

“Next year, the teams currently participating in the U-20 World Cup in Italy will arrive in Georgia, including South Africa, France, New Zealand, England, Argentina, Australia, Wales, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and Spain.
In addition, four outstanding nations, Fiji, the USA, Japan, and Uruguay, will join them,” Kobakhidze announced.

Georgia will once again host the World Rugby U20 Championship in Tbilisi and Kutaisi in 2026. A total of 16 teams will compete.
