PM: Khazaradze-German Ambassador rental issue is scandalous; either tax evasion or non-payment

“There was either tax evasion involved, or the German ambassador did not actually pay any money,” stated Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, when addressing the issue of the leasing of real estate owned by Mamuka Khazaradze’s family to the German ambassador.

The Head of the Government emphasised that all documents and information about this case should be made publicly available.

“This is a rather serious scandal. The fact remains that either there was tax evasion, or the German ambassador made no payments at all. It is crucial to uncover the truth, and therefore, all relevant documents and information should be disclosed,” Kobakhidze asserted.
